Yup  A new cupid. Thought I'd make it more extreme. Not exactly subtle, but I think there's irony instead. "Little Boy" was the name of the atom bomb they dropped in Hiroshima. (although the bomb in the painting is actually based on the "Fat Man" they dropped in Nagasaki) Not entirely happy with the colors. EDIT 11.12.2006: Submitted a print quality image EDIT 5.4.2009: Yup, as ~PreservingLight pointed out, the bomb used as reference was the "Fat Man" rather than the "Little Boy". |
